Oh man, HOT ROD!!! One of the dumber movies I have ever seen, but I can't help but laugh my pants off every time I watch it. I already have it on DVD, but I'll be getting it again for sure!
Hot Rod is a hilarious movie....buuut i also bought it at blockbuster for 5 bucks....gonna be hard to justify re-buying it on blu ray, gotta have a nice cheap price, probably an ebay buy.
In To The Wild was also good, have been waiting for a blu ray announcement for a while
Already own 'Into The Wild' on HDDVD, but will double-dip for the BD release just to enjoy Eddie Vedder's great soundtrack on TrueHD (HDDVD only has the DolbyDigitalPlus track). 'The Wild' looks fantastic on HDDVD, being primarily shot in the outdoors, with many exquisite panoramas....buyers can expect an excellent PQ presentation on BD, which will undoubtedly use the same encode. BTW, Dec. 16th will be an epic new release BD Tuesday, what with 'The Dark Knight', 'Planet Terror', & 'DeathProof' also debuting....
Ever since I saw the documentary on 20/20 about the real life story of the guy that went to Alaska (into the wild) I been intrigued by the story of his life. Definitely a must buy for me.
Into the Wild... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hot Rod, not so good... but good for the people who thought it was funny. I'll take my Samberg on SNL instead.
