First Things First!

PULP FICTION

Death Proof was the shit!!! I don't know if its worth it to get on blu since I have the DVD. Depends on which audio they decide to go with.

i got both (planet terror was way better) on dvd so im gonna wait until they release a GRINDHOUSE blu ray wtih both and the theatrical spoof trailers...

p.s. so many people want both of them on one disc/collection whatever, and the spoof trailers we all saw in theatres, have they even thought about bringing it out as one? or are they just waiting to make whatever money they can on the singles then re-release it all as one.

dragging on, not having those spoof tralers on a dvd thats 2 discs was retarded.

Since it pretty much bombed in the U.S. they were pretty much released seperately pretty much everywhere else including DVD. I would definately pick up the bd with both releases. Spoof trailers a must though.

of the movie, you aren't a man.

Awesome! Hopefully Grindhouse (the theater version that is) will be on BD someday. Until then I'm holding off and continue to enjoy PT & DP DVDs.

I'm all for more on BD, but Death Proof was a horrible film ... absolutely awful! I just can't imagine it selling well; enough to justify a BD release. Planet Terror was awesome, and could easily stand alone! In fact, it was so much better than Death Proof that it actually made it look worse. They should package it as Grindhoue with a Planet Terror BD, and all the fake trailers in between the two films. Better yet, scratch Death Proof all together and just give me Planet Terror with all the fake trailers on BD ... I don't want to have to buy the films together; having to pay a premium for a double feature.

The best part of Grindhouse was the fake movie trailers. I laughed until I my guts were hurting watching that "Thanksgiving" trailer. "Planet Terror" was fun for what it was. "Death Proof" was just plain disappointing.

I saw the extended, non-grindhouse version of Death Proof and found it to be terrible. Easily Tarantino's worst. I'm curious to see the original, theatrical Grindhouse. When's that coming?

Not worth it until they are both together on a BD50 with trailers. These movies do not stand well by themselves. This "grindhouse" experience is BOTH movies with trailers. I can't imagine anyone paying $30 retail for either of these movies. Together is a different story.

I liked both for two totally different reasons. Planet Terror was frickin great because of the crazy B rated action and Death Proof I felt was awesome mainly because of the dialogue which I always find entertaining out of QT films. Will double dip and pic both of these up for sure. Those trailers were hilarious but not that important man lol

I'll buy both...but I was truly hoping they would put " GRINDHOUSE " on Blu-Ray with both films and the spoof trailers before and inbetween....as both films were meant to be presented.

There's a Japanese import of the full GRINDHOUSE available for the big fans. If you have a hundred
dollars burning a hole in your pocket, I recommend it. Get the book GRINDHOUSE "THE SLEAZE-
FILLED SAGA OF AN EXPLOITATION DOUBLE FEATURE" and you'll be set. I dig both versions of both
features, but lean toward the GRINDHOUSE cut. I will be buying the Blu-rays for sure. The picture
quality of the import will be easily trumped, but I will return to the import for future viewings. If you
really love GRINDHOUSE, I say bite the bullet and buy the import.

Sweet! I haven't seen Planet Terror but I will definitely end up getting both of these.

Mr.hidef: Typically if a trailer is just showing the movie it comes with, I wouldn't be against leaving it off the disc, but since they are actually faked trailers of films that aren't even being made (so I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong), it would seem to me that they will be removing an actual part of these two films.

As of right now, the only way us fans of Grindhouse can see the theatrical double feature is on
Starz. So, if you "unfortunates" missed out on your chance to see it while it was in theatres, you
can watch it on that channel. I'll still buy the Blu-Ray editions of both films to show my continued
support for both directors.
