Dead and Buried Announced for Blu-ray

Blue Underground has announced that they will bring 'Dead and Buried' to Blu-ray on January 27th. This horror film comes from the creators of the popular sci-fi 'Alien', and even features many of the same actors. Video will be presented in 1.85:1 1080p accompanied by both 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and 7.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtracks.
Extras for this release include:
- Audio Commentary #1 with Director Gary A. Sherman
- Audio Commentary #2 with Co-Writer/Co-Producer Ronald Shusett and Actress Linda Turley
- Audio Commentary #3 with Cinematographer Steve Poster
- Stan Winston's Dead & Buried EFX
- Robert Englund: An Early Work of Horror
- Dan O'Bannon: Crafting Fear
- Theatrical Trailers

7.1 DTS-HD MA & 7.1 Dolby TrueHD !!!!!! WOW!!! That's the first BD with 7.1 Dolby TrueHD
that a can recall...& to have two 7.1 Lossless Audio tracks is a real first time 'cherry pop' for BD!

Can't wait for this one, either. My copy of the Limited Edition is number 60. Kind of lucked out there.
It looks like Blue Underground prepared early for Blu-ray. I bet they're having a ball creating 7.1
lossless audio. Here's hoping they get around to releasing a few Franco's from the 60's on Blu. VENUS

Sweet! Man I really hope Blue Underground also includes the original mono or stereo soundtracks on there blu-ray releases. They do on there DVD releases. Thank goodness the Texas Chainsaw Massacre blu-ray had the original mono track. |

Ya, where did you get that information on the actors from? The two movies share a writer and a producer and that's it. There is not one actor from "Alien" in "Dead and Buried". |
