I wish it came with the soundtrack like the Limited Edition DVD did.

I don't like the digibook either, so I just ordered it from Japan. Comes out a month earlier too! Do I search, I just added it to the database.

Can anyone tell me about the digibook effect? Are the discs stored in a plastic tray or do they go in a cardboard stock sleeve? I am worried about the discs getting scratched when taking them in and out.

Are the specs the same for Japanese release as the are for US, minus digibook?

I think I will buy the digibook and then put it in a blu-ray case from sleevetown.com

I hate the Digibooks...

As much as I hate digibooks, the cost $47.99 from PlayAsia is a bit much. I will stick with the digibook and consider buying a sleeve and printing cover art.

Doc: The Japan disc is the same as the US - its put out by Warner. The UK disc is put out by ITV.

Excellent news. Now that lossless audio has been confirmed, I'm preordering.

And my digibook-only shelf looks beautiful. The books themselves are a great added value, too.

Awesome. At first when I saw the headline, I thought it said "Shawshank Redemption gets Delayed" and I almost cried. It's already happened too many times before.

I will not be getting this because of the STUPID Digibook, otherwise I would.

Josh... I wondered what studio put it out in the UK, because I was in the shop and I noticed it only had dolby digital.. I thought what other studio has the cheek to ruin the audio.. I cant believe ITV has put this classic out instead of Warner?

Too many great movies coming on Blu-ray and I can't afford to get them all. I don't mind digibook, actually, I do like them. I like seeing photos, comments from actors/directors, etc. Seems to be a good deal than plain case with nothing but a disc.

Shut up about the digibooks already! Jesus Christ. You frickin people seem to care more about packaging than content. I will be getting this and enjoying the digibook. They look great on my shelf. Get a real collection and some treatment for your ridiculous OCD.

I love The Shawshank Redemption every time I watch it. And more than likely, this is one digibook I wouldn't mind adding to my collection!

I want this, but I'll wait till I can find a sale. This is something I'll get for $15 and under.
