Fox Makes Little Miss Sunshine and Sideways Official

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the two comedies 'Little Miss Sunshine' and 'Sideways' to Blu-ray on February 3rd. Both of these titles were previously listed with retailers, and had remained unofficial announcement until today. No technical specs have been announced for either title, but you can expect the typical 1080p AVC video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack from the studio.
Extras for 'Little Miss Sunshine' includes:
- New deleted scenes
- New gag scene
- Four additional featurettes
- Webisodes
No extras have been announced for 'Sideways' at this time.

vanscottie - They were from two different years (2004 and 2006). Both were nominated for Best Picture in different years. But they are both awesome, so you are correct on that count. |

I liked Sideways but didn't really care for Sunshine. Definite rental for Sideways. |

Cool! 2 really great movies~especially little miss sunshine because Abigail Breslin is so cute!(She also starred in Kit Kittredge: an american girl). I'll pick both of these films up later next year after I purchase my UBER 73" 1080P HDTV! Blu-ray disc for life! |

Good stuff. Kind of like a late Groundhog Day gift. My wife and I were on vacation in the Solvang area when Sideways was being filmed back in 2004. Great movie that brings back fond memories. |

I love both of these movies, and rewatch them every now and then. However, I just don't know that I see them benefiting from the Blu treatment. While I'll pass on these initially, being limited release movies to begin with I imagine they'll find themselves on the "Buy X Get X" sales fairly soon and will look to pick them up then for cheap. |

I agree with many of the comments above: these are two incredible films (I own both on DVD already). The upgrade to BD, however, is a little iffy for me, even if I rewatch them from time-to-time. |
