Excellent! I want all of these, especially the Hannibal Lecter Anthology! That is, if I don't already get The Silence of the Lambs beforehand.

I hope Manhunter and Hannibal are also sold separately since I already have The Silence of the Lambs. Wouldn't mind having Child's Play as well.

I hope Manhunter will be presented in director's cut. Such a awesome film.

Manhunter - Definately! But it looks like I have to buy the set to get it. That sucks.

Never seen Manhunter and was just about to Netflix it. Will now wait. Bought Red Dragon long time back for ten bucks cause a movie ticket was attached and a buddy game me copies of Silence and Hannibal he found when a house down the street from him burned down. The DVDs stayed intact! not a singe! I haven't watched them yet though. Now I'll wait.

Grabs for me: Child's Play, and the individual copies of Manhunter and Hannibal if they're available, since I already have Silence of the Lambs. What about Red Dragon?

Awesome! Glad I haven't bought Silence of the Lambs yet. I think Red Dragon is the best in the series but I haven't seen Manhunter (aren't they the same premise?)

I hope these aren't old 2007 MPEG-2 transfers that were sitting on the shelf like SOTL.

Awesome. I will be getting Misery, Child's Play and Hannibal. I already have Silence of the Lambs. I'm not really interested in getting Manhunter. I've seen it and it's ok IMO.

A Hannibal Lecter Anthology is complete without: Red Dragon and Hannibal Rising, even though these two films were made at different studios.

Misery becaues I have not seen it yet, and The Hannibal Lecter Anthology, my hope is that MGM will release them sepratly, because mann realy sunk that film, and hopkens was not in it. I would like to see hannibal Rising, for that one of my fravorite. Hope Universal will take the hint and realese Red Dragon:) all in all what great news to wake up to!

I was excited about this till I remembered that Manhunter was not Red Dragon. Damn. I was really looking forward to sitting down and watching Red Dragon, Silence, and Hannibal on BD. I guess I have to wait until Red Dragon is released. Ugh.

Get on board with Manhunter, people. Red Dragon is trash by comparison. I really do hope Manhunter is released separately, but I know it won't be. I might wait for someone to sell it on eBay or for some uninitiated naysayer to list his copy on here for sale. I mean, I wouldn't mind owning The Silence of the Lambs, but I really don't need Hannibal. That will be a $50 or $60 set; too much to spend when I only want one of the films

The Lecter series (like the Alien Quadrilogy and Batman series) is one I have a hard time with due to my OCD organizing by director. A boxed set always screws me up because I can't put Manhunter with the other Michael Mann movies while simultaneously putting Hannibal with Ridley Scott's films. I ended up re-purchasing the Alien films when they were released in 2 disc DVD's and selling my quadrilogy boxed set for this very reason (I know...I'm a little strange). So, yeah, I'll wait for the individual releases...

I'm sure I will get bashed for this, but my favorite film in the Hannibal Lecter series is Hannibal. I much prefer Julianne Moore over Jodi Foster. Plus you have Gary Oldman, and Ridley Scott directed. I prefer Ray Liota as Paul Krendler. Some consistency would have been great but Jodi dropped out and we picked up Anthony Hopkins as the new Hannibal Lecter. Brian Cox is the original Hannibal. It's curious that the remake of Manhunter, Red Dragon and Hannibal Rising are not part of this set to make it complete. Must be studio rights deal.

LynchFan,

Begin categorizing your movies in alphabetical order, because It'll be alot easier, and less stressful.

Manhunter is a slow but worth it. The last hour of the film has a perfect tone and mood to it!!!
