sweet!! I thought the first one was hilarious (maybe a bit too accurate could have done more spoofing) but I look forward to this next one

Now hopefully this was actually animated in 16:9 and HD. Cause Seth McFarlane said some weird things about how he doesn't like widescreen/ HD in his commentary on the Blue Harvest DVD. Also, does anyone know if there will be a gift set with a bunch of goodies like the Blue Harvest DVD had.

Wha.....? Family Guy in HD??? I'm all over this. I hope it catches on and they start broadcasting the series in HD. I mean, come on, Simpsons and King of the Hill have been all over this for 2 seasons now!

Hopefully this sells well enough to entice Fox to start releasing whole seasons on Blu Ray.

Blue Harvest is a lot of fun, so I can only assume this one will be, too. I have heard really good things about Robot Chicken's spoof as well. Haven't seen that one yet, though...

Hopefully he keeps his political ideals to himself and just makes a fun show, probably not though. In any case, should be a decent spoof.

The Cleveland Show is gonna be in 16x9 and hopefully in HD as shown by the opening to Disc 2 of Family Guy Vol. 7, so hopefully Seth's shows are making the transition from 4x3 to 16x9.

jceperley,

this is on planet-family guy.com

As we reported earlier the long awaited Something Something Something Darkside is finally coming to DVD and Blu-Ray and more details are starting to emerge, as well as an exclusive trailer, and cover art.

Surprisingly, Australia will be getting the DVD and Blu-Ray first on 16th December, followed by America on 22nd December and the UK on 28th December. There will be several editions available;

1.Something, Something, Something Darkside Blu-Ray
2.Something, Something, Something Darkside DVD
3.Something, Something, Something Darkside Special Edition (Box Set) DVD
4.Something, Something Darkside / Blue Harvest (2 Disc Set) DVD
It appears that the Something, Something, Something Darkside Special Edition (a box set like the Blue Harvest one) will only be available on DVD. The box set will contain, like Blue Harvest, a T-Shirt, Trading cards parodying the original Star Wars cards, a small booklet & More!

It seems Seth McFarlane knows Star Wars fans better than George Lucas these days, Blue Harvest was a lot more fun than any of that Clone Wars stuff has been so far.

SWEET!!! Another 45-minute episode that'll sell for $25! I can't wait!

Sorry, I got about 16 times as much content for twice the price when I bought Firefly. I'm not too
excited about this, since I don't really care about all the peripheral stuff. Family Guy is ok, but it's
nothing special.

if it is anything like Blue Harvest it will be better than The Phantom Menace and The Clone wars.
