Last week, when Blu-Con 2.0 was held, several of our viewers expressed their wish to see the keynote given by Martin Scorsese on Blu-ray and the search for better home theater. Fortunately, specialized online TV programme HD Nation has posted video coverage of the conference, including an excerpt from Scorsese's keynote.
HD Nation also has interviews with Best Buy VP Mike Vitelli, Adams Media Research President Tom Adams, and Sony VP Grover Crisp. The whole show is recommended viewing; to access it just click here.

Thanks indeed! Watched the whole thing and enjoyed it tremendously. Would be great if we could secure more of these types of info/industry videos. |

There was a comment piece in the Independent today about this, with the writer rubbishing the notion that watching a film on blu can feel like watching the film for the first time, which Scorsese apparently alluded to in the speech (not had a chance to watch it yet myself)...Most blu-ray aficionados would agree that it can feel like watching a film for the first time, and I think this article was just an example of how far blu still needs to go to capture the masses.... |

Wow...I posted this yesterday in the Blu-con thread. I almost created a new thread for it but thought it would be redundant. This weeks HD Nation show was a good one. |
