Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has moved forward the release date of the BD of this year's science fiction sleeper hit, 'District 9', which will now hit store shelves on December 22, in time for Christmas shopping. Disc specifications and special features remain unchanged from those initially announced.
In other news, 'District 9' recently followed the trend of other new releases and dropped in price on Amazon.com to $19.99.
Every day I look forward to watching this movie again. I saw it at a free military movie theater which doesn't offer the best screen and sound so I am really excited to see it on my HT.
Def day 1 purchase, looking forward to seeing this on Blu... considering the print my local cinema had was out of focus, blury and had more dirt/black spots on it then a Leopard... Nearly asked for my money back but enjoyed the film too much to care.
