Deal Alert: John Adams Blu-ray for $25 (Update)

Those Blu-ray owners looking to score the HBO miniseries 'John Adams' for a good price on Black Friday now have no reason to wait. Best Buy has put the award-winning series on sale for only $25, which is $55 less than MRSP and $20 less than what Amazon currently lists as the products price. The sale will likely end this week, so those interested in checking out the historic series are advised to act quickly. Update Amazon has now matched the Best Buy deal and is also offering 'John Adams' for $24.99, which is highly convenient for blu-ray.com readers who don't live in the US, as BB doesn't ship abroad.

I'm glad I held off on his. Rented the first disc on DVD and was impressed and was set to pick up the DVD at Best Buy for $19.99, but this works even better. I cashed in a $5 BB Rewards certificate and got the Blu-ray for $19.99.

You guys in the U.S. don't know how lucky you are, Best Buy in Canada has it "on sale" for $60 CAD. Considering that the Canadian dollar is worth about .94 cents U.S. it never ceases to amaze me about the difference in the prices between Canada and the U.S.

I might have to pick this one up. I've heard great things about it, but it'll be a blind buy for me. McHugh, just find someone willing to trade a Disney Blu-ray SteelBook for it, and you're set. If I can, I'll pick up an extra John Adams for tradebait.
