Day 1 pick up for me! didn't catch this one in theaters, but did see the preview a few times in theaters and plenty of times on TV. All those previews looked very good! |

Just an observation, but how can so many users just "blind buy" things? For me I need to atleast see the title before I consider making it part of my collection. Well anyways, I guess if you have the money and are willing to take that risk, more power to ya. Not knocking, just wanted to ask. |

I'm a pretty good judge of (movie) character. Few times have I blind bought something that I didn't end up liking or regret owning.
I didn't see this one at the theatre either, but will probably get it when it gets cheap. |

@kevinokev I "blind buy" a lot. It normally depends on the film's director or cast. Sometimes I just really want to see it based on reviews or friends opinions. In rare ocasions, I look at the cover, a few pictures, the synopsis and take the chance. To me, it usually pays off. In my home, at least 3 different people see the same movie in different ocasions so I think to me it's actually worth it. |

I don't blind buy quite as often as I used to. For this title and others like Monsters vs. Aliens, I will just wait a year or two until the 3D version comes out (the REAL 3D version for the new TVs). |

I don't like watching movies before I buy them. I watch the previews and decided from there. If I am not sure i'll rent it but I won't buy the movie once I have seen it. |

This movie is "cute" but not in the same league with Pixar/Disney/Dreamworks Animation. I walked out of the theatre aftert the movie with the impression that I had seen it all before: it is very much like "Meet The Robinsons". I will probably buy it if the price is right ( < $20 ), but, unless a person is a diehard animation collector, I would think twice about a blind buy, unless you have kids at home. Kids will love this, but adult animation fans will be somewhat let down.
This is also a movie that would benefit from a DVD copy in the package. |
