I'll second Croweyes1121's comment. I'm on my seventh viewing of the 13 episodes. The writing is brilliant with lots of comedy to keep you laughing. P.S. Don't forget to cap it off with a purchase of Serenity, the original cast movie that followed after the show was cancelled. (Worst mistake Fox ever made to date).

I know the deal is over, but I had to add to that HELL YES!! One of the greatest shows ever. It's not a sci-fi show, but it is. It's not a Western, but it is. It's not a comedy, but it is. It's not an action show, but it is. You can't claim that it's all things, but yet IT IS!! It's the most perfect balance of everything you want in a show. An absolute tragedy that it didn't last. When you reach that last episode you literally want to seek out and throttle the mindless suits that cancelled the show. Ugh!! A few movies have actually attained it, but for television, I'd have to say 'Firefly' was the one show to ever really capture lightning in a bottle. It's indescribable bliss.

I took advantage of this deal. Watching the round table reunion on disc 2 right now . It's nice because its HD, I hate how DVD's always have crappy 4:3 extras. I didn't know Joss had a single diamond stud in his left ear, HD ftw.
