The reality shows in The Running Man movie look so tame now. I remember watching the movie and thinking in the theaters, "That's horrible!" Now it's nothing.

Woo Hoo more back catalog for Blu Ray! I hope Universal does this soon. If they are cheap enough, which Lionsgate they seem to be, I would pick up a couple.

Finally! They were taking way too long to bring us Billy Zane in purple spandex in HD.

I hope for some good picture quality for Phantom. One of my childhood favorites

Aren't 3 of these Paramount titles? I'm not sure about The Running Man but the other 3 are...

Yay Phantom! What's great about this is that it's been out of print for a long time on DVD!!

Keep the catalog titles coming Lionsgate!

Are you paying attention Universal?

Yeah, 3 of these are Paramount titles. If I had to guess, I would suppose that they were among the unnamed titles licensed to Lionsgate to release. The deal was the one that included My Bloody Valentine (original recipe).

It looks like Paramount licensed lesser titles to Lionsgate to distribute.

"Classic" is a bit of a stretch, no?

Thanks for the clarification on the whole Paramount/Lionsgate thing. I was somewhat confused...

Cool, I am in for the Running Man. Two commentaries - nice! There is a lot of Arnold on Blu. All of my favorites!

Hard Rain is one of the worst movies ever made.

EVERY title released is a win for the BR community

HOWEVER some titles, esp. UNIVERSAL titles are being ignored

if studios keep releasing these (b) titles then the public is going to be less thrilled about upgrading to BR....however I also dont want titles RUSHED that look horrible either

sounds like some kind of BOARD (criterion type) quality board, rule of thumb standard should be put in place.

Not on my radar. Probably skip in lieu of better titles down the road.

Running Man was definitely a fun action flick. The Phantom was OK. Reminds me that Disney needs to put out The Rocketeer.

The Running Man and (maybe) The Phantom are the only ones that I'll consider buying. Seen both Hard Rain and Drop Zone too many times, so I'll pass on those two.
