There's a reason it's so cheap: It's an old model now, with less extra features than some newer models that cost only a little bit more.

This Panny does more than the entry level Sony Model does. 2010 players will be announced in January but not hit stores until April/May 2010. It is now $129.99 plus tax.

Good price. I was going to buy this model for my parents for X-mas until I read about the freezing issues that a good majority of these players have. I opted for the JVC instead.
