I'm really looking forward to this. Famed action director Woo taking on Chinese History--should be a visual feast.

Yay! I didn't think we had a hope in the world of getting the whole movie in North America.

Glad to see it will have the original long version , I hope for your sakes it will use the 7.1 audio as well. I'm sticking with my 2 disc Hong Kong version which is 5* for both PQ and AQ

I just watched the 2.5 hr. version this past week...and it was good. Wouldn't say a "masterpiece" but still good! I can't imagine how much more there must be in the expanded/original version!!!

Can't wait to get my hands on this. It should be quite an entertainment. Hope Magnolia will do a good job on the remastering. Thanks for the news.

I was wondering what happened to Mr. Woo. Can't wait to see it.

Now where is Hard Target, Hard Boiled and The Killer on Blu?

Eh, thought the trailer looked pretty cool, but the movie was pretty disappointing. As for the 288 minutes, it could have, and should have been much much shorter. It's basically Troy with contrived Chinese storylines, philosophy, settings, even worse dialogue and a couple of bad miscasts, despite the # of notable Chinese actors. I hope others out there like it, but I for one thought it was a chore to finish and then wished I hadn't bothered.

Well now I feel silly spending a lot of money and going out of my way to get the Hong Kong discs. hopefully the transfer is equally as impressive.

Just to clarify , the International version is the short version , the Asian version is the long one.
