I did. It was pretty good, but in my opinion Tin Man was better. I will be getting this day one. Heres hoping they get a tin man US release going. I had to import mine from UK lol

Seems like the same tactics that movies like "Transmorphers" use. I would think that SyFy would have enough confidence in their product that they could release it independent of a similar production.
As for the actual quality of this miniseries... it was OK. I saw it on SyFyHD so I think I can pass. I'll reconsider if there is a director's cut. It's pacing was all over the place and character connections bloomed out of no where leaving the ending feel out of the blue.

@billypoe...it was good, though I have to agree with "cjs234" that it was definitely not as good as Tin Man (of course, TM had Zooey Deschanel, which just makes it that much better in the first place.) I would suggest you try to watch it on SyFy when they replay it...might be a let-down as a blind buy. It was good...but the re-watch-ability doesn't get high marks, IMHO.

I'll probably bite too, even if it isn't that great more Tim Curry on Blu is a good thing IMO. I also am hoping for a Tin Man US release. I may give in on the UK version, but I keep putting it off in hopes that a US release will show up.

Tin Man = Wizard of Oz; Alice = Alice in Wonderland. Two completely different stories. Only thing in common is that they were SyFy films.

Swampthing, yes, two completely different stories produced by the same people and broadcast on the same channel, thus the discussion of both here.

Tin Man was terrible. It could have been so great, but the creative liberties went so far it completely ruined it. It's a shame really, since the trailers looked good. But when you're actually sitting through it, you're like "what the hell is this crap?"

This movie was awful and to the person who likes Tim Curry he is in less than 3 minutes of this near 3 hour crap fest. IMO it was way worse than the Tin Man and I only liked Tin Man cause of Zooey.

Why not the original Alice in wonderland just in time for the new one?

I only caught bits of it at first, and my wife and I have streamed it twice since then, watching all the way through. We enjoyed it. We differed in opinion however; I thought "Alice" was better than "Tin Man" but I'm just a fan of cockney British accents. Can't wait to see it in hi-def. And I'd have to disagree with most of you...the more I watch it, the more it grows on me. Great mini!

How about we get a Blu-ray release of the Disney animated, superior classic ALICE IN WONDERLAND to coincide with Tim Burton's film?

i thought this was real bad - i didn't really like the Tin Man either but i think the Tin Man was much better than this junk / they need to make Mcgee's Alice after his twisted vision and his version of OZ which would make Burton's world seem like a walk in the park / i hope if Mcgee's does ever happen it's rated R / now THE PRISONER was a good mini and remake
