Amazon has an interesting BD-related "lightning deal" going on now: for a
very limited time, you can buy 'Planet of the Apes: 40 Year Evolution Blu-ray Collection' for only $49.99 (61% off MSRP). This offer expires today at 6 p.m. PST, or when stock runs out. The price history for this title shows that the
cheapest it has been is $57.95, and then for a limited time as well.
Owen Lol...you do realize this is for FIVE movies and not just Planet of the Apes right? It is a boxset that includes Planet of the Apes and its four sequels.
first star trek and now this! christmas and a new oppo player really has me stretched thin but i managed to get band of brothers. im afraid by the time i can take advantage of this deal (next week) it will be too late
Planet of the apes had sparked much curiosity back then. But the movies did not stood the test of time. Excellent price but watching the apes is kinda annoying
That pains me, considering that I paid 130€ ($186) for the German box back in March.. That was already a employee discount. It was priced at 149 € ($213)..
Actually the UK Set cost about half of that but the packaging looked way nicer..
