According to our good friends over at TV Shows on DVD, HBO is planning to bring 'Entourage: The Complete Sixth Season' to Blu-ray sometime this summer. This would be the first Blu-ray release for the HBO series, which has been broadcast in HD for many seasons. As the release is still in the planning phases, no technical specs or special features have been announced at this time.
I am happy to see them releasing the latest season on blu-ray but I would like to see at least a game plan for the others. Other shows have been abandoned on blu-ray before and it would be unpleasant to only have a season on my shelf.
Agreed, this show has unfortunately overstayed its welcome. Makes me appreciate shows like Lost and The Sopranos, which manage to go out on top. I'd be much more interested in a blu release of seasons 1-4.
@scarface16 Only the latest season of Curb was shot in anything approaching HD. Seasons 1-6 were shot on SD video, and would not really benefit from BD. I'd love the seventh season on BD, though.
I am growing kind of tired of Blu releases of "Season 5" or Season Whatever" start at the beginning! I know most of my friends wait to buy their fave shows when season one becomes available (Lost)
