The New Daughter Blu-ray Announced (Update)

  Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced The New Daughter, the English-language directorial debut for Luis Berdejo, co-writer of [rec]. Edition details are still pending. This horror thriller stars Kevin Costner and Ivana Baquero (Ofelia from Pan's Labyrinth). It had a limited theatrical release in late 2009.
Special features include:
- Audio commentary by director Luis Berdejo
- The New Daughter: Behind The Scenes
- Theatrical trailer

It seems mildly interesting. I wonder when it will drop to $6.99, like all the other Anchor Bay titles.  |

Def want to check this out. Did hear it was a very bad movie (among the horror crowd) but I am still interested in seeing this. Will probably rent first though. |

It would have been nice if they actually released a theatrical trailer either on the internet or in the theatre. If they had, some of us, would have actually known about this movie in the first place.
I am Costner fan and patiently waited for it for over 1 1/2 years and then it was released in I think 2 theatres in the U.S with no warning, and like I said, not even a trailer. |
