Keep in mind this is for playback only but It's a huge start. I have a PC hooked to my TV because my Wife watches Netflix on demand. It's a small market but with LCD monitors getting bigger all the time... every bit helps. |

That's cool, but it doesn't interest me. I'm sure there are those out there that are very excited by this though. |

If Managed Copy ever gets ratified, then a lot of people might find this interesting. |

Those are too expensive. The LG GGW-H20N (Blu-ray and HD DVD) is already shipping in Japan and it costs less than $350. |

Already have the benq br1001 blu-ray burner, came free with a refurbished dell that I got dirt cheap, specs when I bought the computer last week didn't specify this drive, just a 16x dvd player and that was it, opened the box and there it was (2 drives). had to go into the bios and enable sata2 which the br burner is attached, that fact that it was disabled and didn't work was prolly why it was in the outlet refurbished section. anyways roxio recognizes it and going to buy some writeable blu-rays. whether it is dual layer I don't know yet! |
