During last CES technology fair, LG Electronics announced several Blu-ray players and home theater systems, but no 3D models (see blu-ray.com, January 6). But the Korean CE maker obviously doesn't want to be left behind and is now launching the BX580, a Blu-ray player with access to numerous online services (Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, Roxio CinemaNow, Pandora Internet Radio, Picasa Web Albums and AccuWeather), DLNA, HDMI 1.4 and WiFi b/g/n – and Blu-ray 3D.
At the moment it can be preordered at Best Buy for $349.99, or at Amazon for $399.99, where it appears with the message "Usually ships within 1 to 2 months."
