I'd rather wait for Machete, then buy the Grindhouse box set.

sorry to appear ignorant-- I am assuming this is the theatrical experience of DEATH PROOF and PLANET TERROR combined?

My question is, will it include the "clean version" of "Planet Terror" as included on its separate blu-ray release (which I was preparing to purchase).
I suspect it does not. Or how about the added scenes in "Death Proof"? Hmm.

I hope it will match the content provided by the Japanese dvd edition.
A nice packaging would be nice also, but it won't happen with this list price...

I only really like Planet Terror. I really hope they release these separately as well. I don't want to be forced to buy Death Proof.

Pssst, just kidding. Just had to give the guys complaining about separate Alien releases a hard time.

Fuck this, I'm not throwing money at some cheap 2 disc. I was praying that it would be the awesome box set that was released in Japan. This is such bullshit.

October is going to be this year's version of Christmas from the looks of it. This, Psycho, Alien Anthology, Back To The Future. If this is just the initial releases being rereleased I'll be disappointed. Am I seeing things or is this now $13.99?

Ok so 2 down 1 to go, the Whole Bloody Affair!!! Last I heard around January we were looking at a near future release. Did Quentin kick the bucket? Maybe we need Robert Rodriguez to take over!!

FINALLY! I've refused to buy the standalone versions of both Planet Terror and Death Proof until Grindhouse was released, even on DVD - so this has been a long time coming!

I might have done the $13.99 deal, but it's not worth $27.99 to me.

I saw Grindhouse in theatres with my wife (she dug Death Proof), bought the movies on DVD, then got them again on Blu-ray. And now, the theatrical release of Grindhouse on blu-ray is FINALLY being released in October??? I knew it was worth the wait. I mean, after all, three years wasn't that long... was it?

I don't care how much it costs. I'm picking it up the minute it's on the shelf.

Given the low price and the fact that it's both films plus the series of comical trailers, I'll strongly consider buying this.
