Awesome, I'm sure it won't be cheap but I'm in! Such a great show and not to mention playing all that Red Dead Redemption lately has me on a real cowboy kick lately.

Hey, it's being released on my birthday!

I started watching this show after you guys made the unofficial announcement that it was coming to Blu-Ray. I'm on Season 2 right now and so far it's pretty great.

I'll be waiting some time till I pick this one up. In fact, I'll probably end up importing from the UK. We all know the price tag is going to be a major rip off. I got Band of Brothers over a year ago from he UK for under 40, and I recently got Rome for under 50. In North America that would have been well over 200 bucks. Wouldn't be surprised if this is going for 150 on release day. I'll wait the 6 to 8 months And pick it up for 50. Great news though.

Fun fact

The word "fu¢k" and its derivatives are used 2,980 times throughout the series.

Not sure I can stomach seeing Calamity Jane in the bathtub on blu-ray. Still one of my all-time favorites from HBO.

One of my absolute favorites. Language so vulgar it peels the paint off the walls, but hey, it's un-rhymed iambic pentameter (more or less), just like Shakespeare! This is a definite buy, but I'll wait until I can pick it up for cheap as I did with "Band of Brothers" (about $35 on a Best Buy sale period). The price listed at Amazon (about $145 or so) is way out of my bracket.

I too started watching this about 3 months ago. I am a few episodes into season 2. Since I didn't buy the DVDs, I will stop watching and wait to Netflix the Blu-rays. I'll still get a good 20 something episodes in HD

I pre-ordered this the first day it showed up on Amazon. We already have Rome, Generiation Kill, John Adams, and Band of Brothers. Now we just need Carnivale, The Wire, Flight of the Conchords, and Six Feet Under and we'll be set.

This is great news, now if only HBO would get off their asses and put the full Sopranos series and most importantly THE WIRE on Blu.

I'll be picking this up just before Christmas when Best Buy has their annual 50% off HBO product sale. The last three years, I've picked up Six Feet Under, Band of Brothers BD, John Adams BD and The Wire during that time frame.
