Paramount's 2001 crime thriller The Score, starring Robert De Niro and Edward Norton, will be released on August 31, exclusively at Best Buy. No release details are available, nor is there any information as to the duration of the exclusivity window.
Makes since to tie in with the theatrical release of "STONE" which both DeNiro and Norton star. I'm sure the same features from the DVD have been ported over.
I enjoyed this movie, I thought It was a great movie from three of the greatest actors of three different generations, all directed by Yoda. However, I thought this was announced months ago and It was going to be a wide release, not just a BB exclusive?
Hopefully we get this in Canada, cause I wouldn't mind upgrading My DVD
Three generations of the best actors in one great movie: Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando, and Edward Norton. What more do you need to know?! Day one for me!
I have to completley agree, for the great actors, this movie really did not deliver. I went to see it just because it had Norton and DeNiro and was surprised to see Brando. In the end however, it was a disappointing film.
Three Great Actors, but NOT at their best. Good release for fans. I have this on DVD, not looking to upgrade. American History X, Apocalypse Now, Casino, Goodfellas, Godfather, and Primal Fear would be better upgrades or NEW ADDITIONS.
I refuse to ever purchase anything from BB or Target after finding out they donated money to a political candidate that's for banning gays from getting married. they have just as much a right to be miserable just like everyone else.
As for "The Score", surprised to see people didn't like it. Found this better than most recent heist films, including Norton's contractually-obligated "Italian Job".
I Am The Maxx,
I live in Minnesota where Tom Emmer, that candidate is from. Like any Republican, they don't believe in equal rights. Emmer has done plenty else crappy. However, they didn't donate because they are are homophobic or because he is. They think he'll give them a better tax break as governor. Same for Best Buy. Both companies are headquarted here. They are wrong, and yes Emmer sucks, but no need to boycott them when the reason isn't about gay rights.
