SWEET!!! This was one of the funniest films of the summer and to have it in 3D is even better!! Thank you Universal. My 3D blu-ray collection continues to grow! =)
Good to see another 3D Blu-Ray. Thought this movie was alright. Certainly not as good as any Pixar movie (not even Cars) but not bad either. Enough cute laughs are there to keep up entairtained and the kids should love it
Hyped to see this as it hits theatres over here tomorrow. That is one feature-packed Blu release(s).
"earning over $250 million at the box office." Its current total stateside currently stands at $Million244.
I enjoyed this movie. Actually enjoyed it more than Toy Story 3. Will get just get the blu ray for now on 1st day. One one the better 3D movies for 3D, but I don't have a 3D tv at the moment.
My girl friend was mad at me but when I took to watch this movie, she was holding me chuckling on the way home. I'm more into action movies but this movie just proves me wrong about the whole animation thing; I laugh my got out and it's a very cute movie too.
IT'S SO FLUFFY!! Hasn't even come out in UK cinemas yet but I have watched the trailer so many times and it looks awesome! I might have to import this in time for Christmas I think (it should be region free, right? It's Universal).
I liked this movie a lot I'll probably pick it up for my fiance, and yes I have been screaming for the last 2 months now when is their going to a announcement for Shrek Forever After and the other three films so I can pick up a box set for the holidays. It's pathetic that Pararmount/Dreamworks also is releasing dragon 7 MONTHS AFTER IT INITIALLY HIT THEATRES! They SUCK!
I don't know why this movie did so well. The only reason I went was because I had a coupon to go see it free. I thought it was ok, nothing that great. I laughed once, when he brought the kids home and showed them their dog bowls.
But as I say, sometimes I like movies better the second time.
Cool to see 3D releases coming right away. If the 3D one isnt to overpriced I may pick it up since all 3D plays in 2D as well. Would be nice to have 3D/2D Blu, DVD and digital copy.
Has anyone got any details about the UK release of this? I've seen the trailer(it looked hilarious) on the freebie S3D of 'Coraline' but I can't find any info about a UK release. Or will it be possible to get the US version and play it in my Samsung 6900 UK player? John.
Just placed my pre order for the 3D release glad to see universal is doing it day and date with the 2D bluray.
And not as a stupid bundled exclusive. Hopefully they will put Coarline out in wide circulation soon as well.
The people on here saying that they are only buying the regular release now cause they dont YET have a 3D HDTV, If your planning on upgrading to a 3D set at some point in the future you should go ahead and buy the 3D version now, As the 3D release includes both the 3D and the 2D versions of the film.
if you buy the 2D version now, then latter upgrade to 3D youll have to re buy the movie.
obviously the this is only directed towards the people who are planning to one day get 3D hdtvs not the 3D haters out there.
