Posted September 24, 2007 01:36 PM by Josh Dreuth

Blu-ray MoviesHiHD has added eight videos from Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory (PHL) revealing various stages of Blu-ray titles production. While the clips are fairly brief, they do give an insider's look into the production of some well known Blu-ray titles. Areas shown include Authoring, Video Encoding, Quality Assurance, and Disc Replication.

Head over to the Hollywood in Hi-Def Video Archives and check out the new videos.

Its looking very good for Blu-Ray with more production locations the cheaper production costs, the more studios will be happy to support Blu-Ray.

Someone should show these clips to David Vaughan as he's never seen the inside of any Matsushita (Panasonic) factory, lab or office anywhere on the planet.

@Papi4baby: There's an easy way to tell: was anyone in the videos wearing a mask? :-)

This is great and very informative. Although the clips were a little too short, they prove that going with Blu was an easy decision for Panasonic.
