The upcoming Blu-ray edition of Toy Story 3 includes a flyer announcing that another Pixar production, The Incredibles, will be released on Blu-ray in the spring of 2011, in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. The Toy Story 3 disc also features a trailer for The Incredibles. Other release details are still unknown.

i wish they gave us an exact date... Finding Nemo was rumored for this coming November as well.. flyer or not, i will feel more comfortable when i see that date.. either way if this comes out in Spring 11 then i will be their day 1
It's about damn time!! My favorite Pixar film. Which, of course means it's the LAST of the Pixar library to be released. Better late than never. Day ONE buy for me!
I want Finding Nemo too... but The Incredibles is my favorite Pixar movie by far, and you can be sure it'll be a day one buy for me. Can't... freakin'... wait!
YES!!!!!!!!! Very stoked. Incredible movie! This will be a day one purchase. The visuals in the movie will be awesome as well. Everything that took place on Nomanisan Island will be perfect for blu-ray. Woo-Hoo! Thank you, Disney, for you awesome transfers!!
Does anyone still have the flyer from Disney stating that Finding Nemo was available now? It was with the first run of A Bug's Life. So...while exciting news, I'll remain calm until someone sees an actual copy of the movie.
Wasn't there also a Dumbo flyer (or trailer)? Disney is hit or miss on future releases that they have announced. I will also remain calm until we know 100% for sure it's coming out.
I'm happy about this, but won't be holding my breath over a flyer. What happened to Dumbo? And give me Nemo, Aladin, Little Mermaid, and the Lion King!!!!
I'm not a huge fan of kids movies honestly, but will go out of my way for Pixar's stuff, it's just top notch in the story and animation department. Definite first day buy on this as this is my second favorite (behind Wall-E) of their films.
Great to see The Incredibles finally showing up on Blu-ray, but where is Finding Nemo? The release date has been delayed time after time. Last rumor I heard was November 2010, but it looks like that's not going to happen. Would be great to get an update from Disney sometime soon.
Why is everyone thinking that this isn't for sure coming out in the spring? Disney was going to release either this or finding nemo for spring 2011 no matter what and they chose to save their best selling animated movie ever for last (finding nemo). None the less can't wait for this release, day one for me!!
I don't understand the sentiment that Nemo is better than Incredibles...no way, Incredibles is the most fun Pixar has ever come up with! Will definitely be getting this one!
FINALLY, only thing is I hope for better artwork - and since Pixar has rarely used the same art on both DVD and Blu-ray releases (on catalog titles that is), I would assume it would. Also, don't really want it as a combo and hopefully it gets a two BD release (with the DVD and Digital Copy making it a four disc edition). Finally, I thought that Nemo would be next with a spring 2011 release, and The Incredibles would be at the end of the year as a cross studio promo for Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible IV.
C'Mon...Bring "Finding Nemo." We have all been waiting that for a very long time. But "The Incredibles" would look awesome on Blu-Ray even though it's not one of my favorite Pixar movies.
we never even got it on DVD, my sister had the VHS and even though she wore it out it's all we have ever had. I would have gotten the DVD myself but i was already into Blu Ray by the time I got around to it and well DVD won't cut it so I have only seen this movie twice and both times it was on my sisters vhs tape. So I might try and talk her into upgrading this one to Blu.
I think they should do a double pack with Nemo to go with this. Nemo will help to push even more blu-ray players sales for the color level in that movie. It will own the sales for top 2 spots and Disney will come out with more manufacturer coupons for great deals epecially when there are 2 release at the same time.
The Incredibles was really the first Pixar film I saw and easily remains one of my very favorites from that studio. I've long been awaiting its release on BD. Glad there are signs that things are moving in that direction.
