Internet retailer Newegg is offering Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy for only $39.98 (50% off MSRP), with free shipping (except to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico). This is the best price ever found for this trilogy box set, at any retailer.
+1 to both lovgun7 and Ashamed Pegasus. Its current Amazon price ($47.99) is the lowest it's ever been there (except sales not tracked such as Lightning Deals). Amazon only manually PMs the retailers THEY see as their competitors in that space; they don't see Newegg as a competitor in BDs yet (even though IIRC Newegg is now the second-largest pure e-tailer behind Amazon, mainly because it owns the computer-parts market).
Edit: Do note that the free shipping is Egg Saver (i.e., USPS via DHL Global Mail or UPS Mail Innovations). However, at this price it's still better to add $5.99 (YMMV) for "guaranteed 3-day" UPS shipping, which can be *less* than 3 days if you're close to the Newegg warehouse it ships from. (I'm 1-day UPS Ground from Memphis, and 3 days from NJ; only CA shipments must go UPS 3-Day Air.)
I have a friend that works at Walmart, and told me that all BD movies will be on sale on black Friday. So just wait for black Friday people. it be worth it. This movie will cost 24.99 on black Friday..
@b2009 - highly unlikely that this will be $24.99 on BF.. and in the unlikely event is does happen.. odds will not be in your favor in actually getting your hands on one.
Btw, it's out of stock anyway and I don't think I can order from this site. It's on the UK Amazon for £27.98 which is about $44.70. Free shipping as well from Amazon with orders over £25... I.e. a better deal! At least for us in the EU. EDIT: Just learned that the EU version is region free!
What a tease! NewEgg doesn't take orders for out of stock items.
"Please Note: Due to limited supply, all stock is sold on a first-come first-serve basis. Auto notify does not guarantee availability or price. All prices are subject to change without notice."
Also, just scanning their Blu-Rays, pricing is not so competitive and most discs do not ship for free, even are very high. Also if you live in New Jersey, you have to pay sales tax.
I was going to wait for BF but couldn't resist this deal. Just got my shipping info about 12 hours after submitting my order.

@b2009:
I highly doubt that for the BD. Maybe $40 lowest for the BD, and $30 for the DVD, but not that low, bro. At my job, we're having some sweet deals, but most of the good stuff looks to be taking not that much a price drop from a quick glance.
NewEgg was also selling the Alien Anthology for $10 cheaper than Amazon...I called Amazon customer support and was actually told that Amazon does not price match. I told them I was buying from NewEgg and that they lost a sale. They didn't care, asked me if there was something else they could help me with....idiots.
Oh, and I did order Alien Anthology from NewEgg with free shipping (did not upgrade the shipping) and got it in three days. I previously ordered Iron Man 2 from NewEgg and had the same experience. Great to deal with. What's amazing to me about Amazon is that their prices are always being adjusted to match or undercut competitors, yet when I asked for a price match they said they didn't do it. I generally love dealing with Amazon, and have bought many, many things from them, but this just didn't make any sense.
I have to think this will drop even lower between now and X-Mas. Sometimes it's not even Black Fri or Cyber Mon, but rather in the middle of December. I doubt it will drop significantly, but I could see it going for somewhere between $30-$36 (guessing).
I'll patiently wait for what you call Black Friday, BTTF has to get below USD 33 before I buy this, or I'll have to pay large amount of tax to the Norwegian government.
