I might buy this if it gets DTS-HD audio like Sons of Anarchy (probably will). But I'll wait for a price drop.

Great series though.

I will definitely buy this! I loved every episode of this series but some are foggy in my mind. Watched like the first 4 or 5 on a standard def TV because I'd broken my ankle and couldn't go downstairs to my true setup. Also I was on pain meds. lol.

Now I have a chance to relive the fun again and remember it all, some of it for the first time in HD!

Great show. Started watching this as a fan of Walton Goggins on The Shield, am now a big fan of Timothy Olyphant. Cant' wait to see this on blu.

Good show that got better as the season progressed. I'm not sure I'd advise a blind buy unless you're swimming in dough and eager for a new show to plow through during the holidays. But it's not quite as good as other cable fare that aims at similar demographics (The Shield, Breaking Bad). It's also not a show with impressive visuals or cinematography (like Breaking Bad), so you may want to keep that in mind before purchasing.

The second half is definitely the better one. After the pilot, Walton Goggins was committed to shooting "Predators", so his character was left out of the early episodes, except for a few cameos. As a result, there are a few too many stand alone stories. But when he's back in the picture, the season is on fire until the end.
And Goggins has officially joined the main cast for the second season.

One of the few new shows that is awesome! Gives us Kentuckians a sense of pride that is filmed here as well. Can't wait for season 2 to start to see how many Raylan will gun down in the first few episodes. Rest assured, they will all have drawn first. ;-)
