Lebanon Blu-ray Announced

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Lebanon for Blu-ray release on January 18, 2011. This war film, directed by Samuel Maoz, won the Golden Lion Award at the 2009 Venice Film festival, thus becoming the first film from Israel to win such an award. It is a personal look at the 1982 Lebanon War from the inside of an Israeli tank dispatched to search a bombarded hostile town. Special features include the featurette Notes on a War Film.

I have it on Blu-ray. A really, really good and clastrophobic war movie. Just as scary as Das Boot.
