Anchor Bay has announced that, on February 8, 2011, it will release the cult movie I Spit on Your Grave and its 2010 remake, both in an unrated director's cut. Back in 1978, I Spit on Your Grave shocked audiences all over the world - critics reviled it, but audiences embraced its woman empowerment message.

I Spit on Your Grave (1978):
All-new interview with writer/producer/director Meir Zarchi about the making of this film and its legacy for the past three decades
I Spit on Your Grave (2010):
Filmmakers commentary with producer Lisa Hansen and director Steven R. Monroe
I was waiting to see if this would come out in th U.S. Looks like the UK edition will be the way to go. Here are the features...
FEATURING NEW UNCUT MATERIAL PREVIOUSLY UNSEEN IN THE UK.
Originally titled Day of the Woman I SPIT ON YOU GRAVE has gained a reputation as an extremely graphic and violent film, as well as the most talked about film in cinema history! It tells the story of Jennifer Hills (Camille Keaton) a magazine writer from New York who retires to a secluded cabin in the woods to write her first novel. There she is brutally assaulted, raped and left for dead by four country boys. BUT JENNIFER IS ALIVE. Emotionally destroyed, she finds herself choreographing a horrific revenge scheme to inflict punishment on her four assailants in methods that defy the imagination.
Banned by censors and bashed by critics, the legacy of I Spit on Your Grave goes on as the most disturbing film ever created. Yet it has become a cult classic of epic proportion!

I didn't know they made a remake. I saw this when I was about 15. I found it kind of disturbing. It's a horrible movie with some gross goons repeatedly raping a young woman. Pretty Sick.
If only Anchor Bay had gotten that awesome Joe Bob Briggs commentary from the Image Millenium Edition DVD for the US release. Still, I'll give it a watch.
