Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Legends of the Fall for Blu-ray release on February 8, 2011. This romantic saga starring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins and Julia Ormond had been pre-announced in 2006-2007, but was later postponed. On the same date, SPHE will re-release A River Runs through It (previously released in a Digibook edition) in conventional packaging.

Very glad to see this one is in Sony's hands, hope it looks as good as A River Runs Through It.
Great film, been waiting for this one for a while. Hopefully, this is a picture of the old blu-ray case that was intended to be released a few years ago...because a movie this good deserves better treatment (steelbook or digibook perhaps Sony).
Oh hell yeah! LOTF is one of the movies I have been waiting for since I upgraded to Blu-ray! Great movie about the relationship between brothers and fathers. I never considered it a chick-flick.
Ok, while I'm excited about Legends, I have to admit, those extras aren't all that exciting. The same from the Special Edition DVD, which weren't that great to begin with and it's missing the James Horner isolated score.
