of course i didnt factor in i still had to spend 0.01 cent for free shipping... so i got Outlander Bluray for 5.99 blind buy. I am a happy camper.

@swissmr: you don't (or didn't have to add anything to get Free Super Saver Shipping) as ulri4651 said.
Actually the lightning deal shows as a promotion/discount. if you check your order details, you will notice that it shows Back To The Future is at $34.49, so it qualifies for Free Super Saver Shipping by itself.

Please ignore my previous rant - I was 22nd on the waitlist and a little window popped up telling me I had 2 minutes to buy a copy - I ended up scoring after all. Who were these 22 people who let a copy sit in their basket without checking out? Oh well, too bad for them. heheheheh

Oh your right it still shows the price as $34.49 that's why I didn't need to add anything else to get the free shipping. I thought that was strange but that makes sense. I was like what costs a penny...lol. Decided to try it and it did give the shipping. Awesome.

I bought it for $32.77 on Friday and then that night when I saw it was going to be a Lightning deal today I tried to cancel but they would not let me because they said it had shipped. It actually did not ship until Saturday. I was fortunate to get on this morning for the $24.99 and was going to return the other, but thanks to R3PO I called and they did issue me an $8.00 refund on my account. Now I can give one as a gift.

It was a mess this morning as I did hit the Buy button immediately and by the time I closed my order they were gone. I wonder how many they had?

For those that bought BTTF in the past few days they HAVE to pricematch the best offer within 30 days and that the best deal just happened to come from them (Amazon); or threaten to return the item and usually the reps will give in. The reps will not see the lowest price and may even say it was DVD; Explain to them it was a lightning deal on today between 8:40am PST and 1230pm PST; Explain to Amazon that the order closed before you could cancel and return to rebuy under new deal. The aforementioned Credit should hit your acct in 3-5 business days.

If You Missed Back to the Future Today

I needed a second set (gift) and found virtually the same price at Deep Discount. After I bought one set on Amazon @ $24.99 I was able to buy a set at Deep for $26.25. They are running it @ $35.00 less 25%...$26.25. I don't know how long they'll offer it at this price, but forget Amazon's wait list, go to Deep and you can still get a hell of a deal.
