This week, Best Buy is having a special HBO sale, offering Blu-ray titles from that studio at a special discount of 50% off MSRP or more, including recent releases such as The Pacific for $39.99 and Deadwood: The Complete Series for $94.99. Amazon has responded by matching most of those prices, and even reducing them for a dollar each.
I hope Amazon lowers the price of The Sopranos (Season 6, Part 1) soon...I am sitting on some Gift Certificate funds in my account that I would like to use on it...

Got The Pacific off Best Buy as opposed to Amazon for 2 reasons:
1. Best Buy promises delivery by Christmas with free shipping.
2. Best Buy more than likely does not ship with Ensenda. Thank God, my neighbors were kind enough to deliver my Lost: The Complete Collection, since Ensenda's delivery agent was too half-@$$ed to do it right himself :P
Thanks for the info; I just ordered Deadwood and both seasons of True Blood. And even though there's shipping and exchange rates to Canada, it's still way cheaper than Amazon.ca.
Damn I want to get The Pacific but I think I'm getting it for Xmas. Might just pick it up and hang onto it. If I get another copy I'll just return mine. That's an awesome price.
Looks as if I'll pick up The Pacific this year after all. Forty bucks from the amazing Amazon is too good to pass up. . So much for not buying any more blu-rays this month.
