Warner Home Video has announced Firebreather for Blu-ray release on March 22, 2011. This CGI animated movie, directed by Peter Chung (Aeon Flux), is based on a comic book series centering around the clash of two worlds where dragons roam the earth. It premiered on November 24 on Cartoon Network.
I dont like mean dragons anymore after watching How to Train a Dragon and the Shreks. It's the same as when movies portray wolves as being bad-ass and mean.
i really liked it and it's my understanding that they might be making it into a series. my big wish for the release is that it comes with a lossless audio track. there is serious potential for some really good LFE if they mix it right; it sounded very good in DD 5.1 on the CN HD on cable. either way, i'll be there as it's a day one purchase for me. i really enjoy 3d modeling and animation and this movie was very well made for a TV production.
