Before-and-after film restoration demo
Trailer

More noir on blu is always good!! Some of the prettiest photography I've ever seen was in black and white, and a lot of the classics have been as of yet ignored.
For one brief, dyslexic, tired moment, I thought it said "Kitchen Confidential" was coming to Blu-ray. That would be sweet too. Show was funny. hey I've been up 22 hours. This was the last thing I check before bed.
I hope that is the final artwork. I like the fact that they kept the original poster art...or atleast it appears to be. Just like 'The Stranger'.....looks awesome.
I'm very excited for both these movies too. Let's hope image quality is up to snuff. At the very least, recent or new 2K scans of first generation elements (or the copy from the Library of Congress, or something like that), without digital tampering. I don't care if there are some specks or a few shots look worse, etc. I don't ask for more.
I just saw on their Amazon pages that the aspect ratio is listed as 1.77. I hope it's a silly mistake. But maybe they think that's what we want, along with a 5.1 mix....
