Saw this in theaters before it was pulled, great, GREAT, fun. Plenty, and I mean PLENTY of gore, some nice nudity, and it completes the story of the monster. Some people didn't like it, I liked it. First day buy for me!
I agree with "jasonicus". It had some great and creative kills(and the amount of gore was staggering) but as judged as a movie it was pretty terrible. If your a gore hound it's well worth watching though.
The first Hatchet was good but unfortunately the sequel does not even come close to expectations, it was pretty bad. I had such high hopes for part 2. First of all the lead female role changed actresses even though its the same character and its just a less enjoyable horror film overall.
The original actress was unavailable apparently. Take ONE look at Danielle Harris and tell me you care... She's an incredible talent and her being part of the film elevates it to "must buy" for me. At least when I can find a decent copy used.
