The PQ on the Australian release of Robots was pretty good. Not quite up to Pixar. But still pretty good. May have to upgrade depending on review.

Anastasia and Robots for me. Those are my two favorite films of the bunch, and on their own, and should look awesome in HD. My sister loves Sandlot, but not Blu-Ray. Made a joke about it with her just now.

The Sandlot = Day One. Terrific under-the-radar diamond in the rough.

Winn-Dixie was a fun flick, and had some cool guitar work in it from Matthews. I'll pick that one up.

Robots for sure! Great flick, will look amazing on Blu-ray with Fox/PHL behind it.

Robots is an okay movie, but it should be real eye candy on Blu-ray. Probably need to get Anastasia as well.

Good selection of flicks!

I just rewatched Anastasia this xmas for the first time in years and it's aged quite well. I was worried that all those trappings of 90s animation (in every studio's attempt to emulate the disney formula) would seem dated today, but it felt more like a comfortable return to form. Can't go wrong with Don Bluth! (is Titan A.E. available in any region yet??)

@The Blu Raja

This announcement got me thinking about Titan AE too. I don't think it's out anywhere, but here's hoping it'll come.

Sandlot and Anastacia for me I think. Maybe Robots too.

Great seeing the animated Anastasia on blu ray. Now adding the live action film (The pne with Ingrid Bergman) would be great too!

"Squints grew up and married Wendy Peffercorn. They have 9 KIDS!" As a kid who grew up with glasses about that thick, that still remains my favorite line in the movie. Sometimes the nerd really does get the girl.

Yay for Anastasia--definitely one of the better non-Disney animated films.

I should also add that Aaliyah, who will have been gone 10 years this coming August, sang the pop version of Anastasia's theme song "Journey to the Past". (The main version in the movie was sung by Liz Callaway, the voice of Anya; there was also a Spanish version by Thalia. I have the soundtrack CD with all three versions.) It was so different from anything else Aaliyah ever did that you'd never guess it was her just from listening to it; but it was nominated for an Oscar, so she got to sing it on the telecast. (I remember two things about it: Michael Bolton mispronouncing her name in introducing her, and her "toned down" rubberized outfit still looking like her would-be character from the Matrix sequels.) RIP, Aaliyah...

I should add that since Michael Bolton was at the Oscars singing the theme to Disney's Hercules, perhaps it's karmic payback that Anastasia will hit BD long before Hercules.

I love "Robots," and it's one of my son's favorite animated films. I figured it would never get a BD release (the widescreen DVD at least offered DTS 5.1 audio). "The Sandlot" is also a great film!

I'll be picking up Anastasia and maybe Robots! I hope that the Anastasia release includes the Aaliyah music video. I'd like to have that!

I love that they're releasing The Sandlot and Anastasia. This gives me hope that The Pagemaster might make an appearance on Blu. That would have a lot of fun visuals to work with, with both animation and live action. Especially the library scene with all the colors from the ceiling splashing down. That would be epic.

It will be a crime if The Sandlot doesn't have a commentary. If they could do one for the lame-ass sequel, they can do one for the first film.

Yeah man! Wendy in The Sandlot is going to be uber fap material in HD. Too bad I was like 10 when I first got hooked on this movie lolol I thought it was "cute" the idea of kissing her.

How things have changed

On that note, 20th cent. fox!! Make this region free please (day one for me, if so). Come on, do it..

Any word on region info??
