Unstoppable was the top-selling title on Blu-ray during the week ended February 20, according to Nielsen VideoScan. The latest Tony Scott/Denzel Washington team-up got 36% of its total sales from its BD version. In a week with hardly any major new releases, the rest of the top three was filled with veteran titles, with Inception coming in second and Iron Man 2 third.
Expected. Great transfer, movie was just okay. Good to see Inception still doing strong. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it now the BD title found in most collections? Just surpassed Avatar a few days ago by 50. That $13 price tag definitely helps, but the movie alone is worthy of being in every single members' collection.
We added Unstoppable, Inception, Iron Man and Iron Man 2 to our collection this week. Unstoppable was just okay. Not near the movie eveyone said it was. Now Inception is a phenomenal movie.

No. Hollywood is no longer trying. 2011 is going to set a record for sequels. To give you an idea of how bad things are; they're remaking The Bodyguard.
Could discounts on Amazon huge such a huge impact on the overall top ten of a week? Inception, The Town, Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3 and Salt all went really cheaply on Amazon this past week (and still are). Just seems like too much of a coincidence not to be related.. But it's still strange that a single company could have THAT much effect, even if that one happens to be a giant like Amazon.
I agree with you. How did Iron Man 2 shoot back up after 4 or 5 months on shelves? No matter, Iron Man 2 is a worthy sequel and it's good the film is getting sales still.
Unstoppable, I never saw, but looking forward to it.
