So this new single disc version will have less bonus features I assume? Guess it's time to upgrade my HD DVD version to the 2 disc BD version!

If you're gonna get it, get the 2-disc edition now for the same price!

When re-releases come out for theatrical releases of movies I would rather see a single disc like this and be pointless if you already have the first release. Then you do not have to re purchase for a few extras and people that do not own the first release can purchase the second release. But if they are the same price, may as well go with the 2 disc superior release. They did this a bit better than what Disney did with Pirates of the Caribbean. 2-3 months before Pirates 4 Stranger Tides lets release a 2nd trilogy bluray set and have 1 extra crap dvd disc with worthlessness not even within the box set. Just stick it to the back. Now that is ignorant.

Paramount has already done single disc re-releases of Star Trek, Iron Man, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra for starters, and now they're already on Transformers. No doubt they'll do Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen next. So not needed, Paramount!!

However, I might get the single disc re-release of G.I. Joe because there was nothing really special about that last 2-disc edition of said movie.

Useless... buy the first edition wich is fact much better than this crap. They really love to rob us. Selling the same movie over and over again... Then they complain about piracy.

I want to buy the 2 disc edition, but here in canada it's still 30$-35$......too expensive

Yes, death is certainly the appropriate fate for a man who makes movies you don't enjoy. Simply not watching them would be silly.

I only have this one on HD-DVD, haven't been able to upgrade due to money issues. If it gets a single disc release and is priced low enough maybe I can upgrade but for now I am ok with what I have. My sister on the other hand who really liked the movie just got a Blu Ray player so maybe she will like this news.
