Disney Movie Rewards is offering a $10 off coupon for upgrading to The Incredibles on Blu-ray, if you already own this animated classic on DVD. To get the coupon, there are a few hoops to jump through: you'll need the code from The Incredibles DVD and join Disney Movie Rewards to print your coupon. The offer expires April 17 and is valid for U.S. and Canada only.
Anyone know if Best Buy will honor the $10 off if I pre-order to pick it up at the store?
They'll want me to charge a card in advance for this but I don't want to set it up if it will be a hassle getting the $10 off when I go to pick it up (otherwise I'll just take my chances they'll have one in stock on Tuesday). So I guess I'm asking if anyone has done something like this with a Disney coupon before.
Ya know, I tried this with the last Disney $10 off release (um, offhand I'm not sure what it was -- was it Bambi? I dunno, buy so many nowadays...) and they were all out by the time I got there that evening (nearest store to us is around 30 miles and there isn't another for another 30 miles. Small town so who knows how many copies of the stuff they actually get in on any one day).
It's my plan if I can't get confirmation about a pre-order (that it works with the $10 off, that is) but it's a lot more iffy (I'm guessing they'd give me a rain check but with a 60 mile round trip it ain't too cost effective gas wise to be doing this).
I attempted to print the coupon after logging in and received the printer configuration 'problem' on the screeen. I went back to try it again and received the 'you've already printed the coupon' screen. I had this exact same problem with Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 and sent emails to both Disney and the site that actually has the coupons to print. I never received a response from either. Any suggestions from anybody?
Any yes, the printer works fine for any other screen or item that we want to print.
I would be thrilled if someone was able to scan/post or email me a copy so I could print it out. I still haven't picked up Fantasia as everybody wants $35 for it. Would really like to get the blu version of Incredibles. thanks
Not really... You can get $10 off at Amazon but only when buying The Incredibles with Cars, which still ends up being $45 for both... Best Buy's price for both with the coupons is $22.98 + tax which is almost half...
Pauliesr, post your problem on Disney Movie Rewards' Facebook page. Their rep that maintains the page usually is pretty good at helping with these problems.
Try Downloading Google Chrome. My IE and Firefox didn't work for the longest time, so I used Google Chrome and it worked. Now my mozilla firefox works as well but try one or both.
Just printed find for this one and cars. Make sure you run the printing program to avoid any problems. I hope bb takes both coupons plus an extra $10 off. That's awesome!
I wonder why there is nothing for Amazon customers. When Snow White came out, Disney gave Amazon a coupon code that customers can use. Why did they stop that??
You can try, but it'll depend on the store itself. The Disney coupon does state "Cannot be combined with any other offer". I already have Cars from it's original BD release anyway.
Is the UPC above, from @truckdaddy, the same for everyone? Is it the "product code" Disney requests? I sold my DVD copy a month ago in anticipation of this BD, so can't even see what Disney references as "product code" and "magic code". Help!
He gave the UPC code but incorrectly (you don't need the first or last digits he gave, which are actually not part of the UPC code at all -- UPC codes are always just the bracketed portion under the bars).
Still wish someone here would tell me if they had ever gotten BB to honor one of these coupons with an online in-store pick up order -- anyone done this?
Otherwise I'm taking my chances they will still have one in after work tomorrow.
I pre-ordered for in-store pickup. They wouldn't honor it over the phone, but I was told to just return/rebuy with the coupon when I went to pick it up. They said the store will take it. FWIW
For those who already have Cars and want a real deal on this one, like myself. I plan to go to Target with my Target Red Credit Card, $5.00 Bunny Money Target coupon, this $10.00 Disney coupon, and Best Buy Ad to have them price match. $24.99 - 5.00 - 10.00 = $9.99, pay with Target Red to get additional -5% off, which takes care of Tax in my area. Out the door for $9.97!
This is a load of crap! Apparently, DMR changed their printing securities and I can't print the coupon from the same computer and printer that I've printed many coupons from in the past! That and I'm on a Mac when they only provide a "solution" for PC! I just sent them a message via their 'help' section...though I'm not holding my breath just yet as I don't expect an answer in a timely fashion. So annoying.
OK...So after contacting Penny from the DMR Facebook page, she informed me that, "Once you have attempted to print the coupon twice, the program will not allow you to additional attempts, regardless of whether or not the print was successful." I think that is pretty lame given the technology of our times that a site can't tell when something has printed successfully. If I attempt to print something but the site I'm printing from brings me to a proprietary error message, then it should allow ample time and opportunities for the user to alleviate the problems in order to get to a successful print!
I was also given the option to get the coupon mailed to me (via 'snail mail'), which I also asked Penny about, due to my concerns that the coupon would not arrive before the coupon actually expired... Her reply to that matter was this, "the coupon usually arrives within 10 days and will have an extended expiration date." But now, my only concern is that the prices at whichever store I decide to purchase the blu-ray from will have gone up from the initial sale price...so I'll end up paying more than I would have if the damn coupon printed properly in the first place and I'd been able to get the coupon within the allotted time prior to the original expiration date of the coupon!
To Schfooge, I did as you suggested - going to their FB page. I posted comment about printer issues (so the website tells me). And posted that I had issues with Fantasia coupon also and am still waiting to get a reply from the email I sent both Disney and the coupon website about it. Also sent Disney an email 2 days ago an no reply as of yet. We'll see what happens.
So, Penny from the DMR Facebook page got back to me again and directed me to go back to the disneymovierewards.com site, click 'My DMR' and then click 'Unlocked Offers'... Once there, I selected the '$10 Incredibles coupon' and went through the process all over again.
I still ended up getting that "We're Sorry..." error message/page, but I kept clicking the 'Print Coupons' button/link that shows up on that page (I did so about 3 or 4 times) and if finally ended up printing.
Glad I got the coupon...but still, they really need to work on updating/fixing how that site works.
I hope maybe this helps anyone else having similar problems!
Went to Best Buy today. Had them price match Target's 22.99 price for Cars. Bought both Cars (22.99) and Incredibles (24.99) together and got the extra $10 off. Tossed in the $8 coupon for Cars and the $10 Coupon for Incredibles. Paid $25 out the door for both combo packs and received two tix for Cars 2 valued at $17. All told, $8 for both blus after all is said and done.
d6a4s5,
Did Penny from DMR do something to unlock the coupon on your DMR account, because I am doing exactly as you mentioned above and nothing is happening. Ugh this stupid coupon!
Just bought Cars and The Incredibles for $25 at Best Buy and also have the two tickets (for up to $17) for the theaters when Cars2 comes out in June... Thats only $4 a movie KILLER DEAL!!!!
FYI for everyone, I posted to the Disney Movie rewards FB page about my 'not being able to print' problem. There was a reply posted that was of help. If anyone has attempted to print but get shut out for one reason or another, on the 'print' page, instead of clicking on print coupons, look down below for a little 'help'. Clicking on that will open up another screen which will ask for your mailing address. The coupon you want will be mailed to you with a longer expiration date than the printable coupon. You might not get it on sale but can still get the $10 off.
May be of some help to a few people out there.
I'm not positive if she did anything, but at one point I did provide her with the email address that I use for DMR, so I suppose there's a chance she or someone at the site maybe reset my 'reward' or something, however she never mentioned anything along those lines.
Sorry. Hope it works for you sooner rather than later!
Ugh, can someone just email me with their code (daveflora@hotmail.com) so I can do this the simple way, LOL? Still no word from Disney at this time. This is so crappy!
