Blu-ray.com and Paramount Home Entertainment are offering three Blu-ray.com members the opportunity to win a "My Dad Has True Grit" prize package. Winners will receive a Blu-ray copy of the Coen Brothers' True Grit, as well as a "My Dad Has True Grit" portable grill, cooler, griller's hat, cooking mitt, grilling utensils and apron, just in time for Father's Day.
Blu-ray.com members can earn two separate entries in the contest:
To earn one entry, simply participate in the My Dad Has True Grit Giveaway Poll located in the Forum. (There are no right or wrong answers.)
To earn a second entry, post a comment on the My Dad Has True Grit Giveaway post on the Blu-ray.com Facebook page. (Members are welcome to "Like" the giveaway post or the True Grit page on Blu-ray.com. Just keep in mind that "Likes" appear on your Facebook friends' News Feeds; comments do not.)
The contest is open to all Blu-ray.com members with a valid U.S. shipping address (membership is completely free, click here to join). Entrants will never be asked or required to post any personal information whatsoever on Blu-ray.com or Facebook, and will only ever be identified by their Blu-ray.com username. After claiming their prizes, winners will be contacted exclusively via Blu-ray.com private messages. Winners will be asked to provide a valid U.S. mailing address as well, but their personal information will not be shared or retained in any way. Maintaining our membership's privacy is of the utmost importance. The contest will close on Friday, June 10th at 11:59pm EST, and three randomly selected winners will be contacted soon thereafter.
@JHas and Mier101294: Just to elaborate on PBateman87's reply (thanks by the way!), giveaway winners are always posted in the sticky contests/giveaways thread in the North American Blu-ray forum. I generally try to post winners in the individual contest/giveaway threads themselves too. There is a short delay though - I wait until all prizes have been claimed before posting winners
@stevo4264: In the last two months, we've gone to great lengths to include international members in over 80% of our giveaways. Even so, it's the studios supplying the prizes that dictate each contest's eligibility (due to legal constraints), not Blu-ray.com or its representatives. Hope that helps clarify
@Ken: Thanks for the info. I wasn't implying that nobody won I just wasn't aware that there was a post listing the winners. I guess I went about the wrong way of fishing for that information. I'll be more straight forward in the future with my inquiry.
