Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the surprise hit 'Enchanted' to Blu-ray this Easter. Video will be presented in 2.35:1 1080p and audio will be 5.1 24-bit PCM. Extras include deleted scenes, bloopers, three behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a Blu-ray exclusive game called "The D-Files".
"The D-Files" is a BD-Java game which requires the viewer to find Disney film references throughout the movie. This feature should play similar to the "Car Finder" game on the 'Cars' Blu-ray.
Beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical, animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid — even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home — she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?
I am really excited for this one this was a great movie all around, hilarious at times: In Sqirrel Voice "C'mon take the apple, It's Gooood" so funny. Can't wait this is a definate buy.
Just saw this this past weekend with my wife. I thought it looked like it could be good going into it, but wow, it was very good! Genuinely funny with a good story and terrific acting (Amy Adams better win best actress for playing Giselle). My wife already agreed this will be another blu ray purchase.
