Lamberto Bava's Demons and Demons 2 Heading to Blu-ray

Arrow VideoIndependent UK distributors Arrow Video have revealed that they will release on Bu-ray two cult Lamberto Bava films: D�moni a.k.a Demons (1985), starring Urbano Barberini, Natasha Hovey, Karl Zinny, and Fiore Argento, and D�moni 2: L'incubo ritorna a.k.a Demons 2 (1986), starring Asia Argento, David Edwin Knight, Nancy Brilli, and Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni. Arrow Films have not yet revealed preliminary dates and technical specs for these releases, but both are expected to hit retail shelves in 2012.

Arrow Films are also planning to release on Blu-ray Lucio Fulci's Quella villa accanto al cimitero a.k.a The House by the Cemetery, and Joseph Zito's Red Scorpion (1988), starring Swedish muscle man Dolph Lundgren.

@CaptainKronos - The only title to my knowledge that Arrow has region locked was the Special Edition of Battle Royale (the LE that came out late last year however, was region free). While its possible that they may region lock these titles, its highly doubtful that they will. That said, Arrow's titles often have special features disc that are DVDs, which are region free, but are PAL formatted.

I'll be getting Demons when it comes out.

I'll be passing on Demons 2 since i never cared too much for it.

Yeah, "Red Scorpion"! Gots to get me some M. Emmet Walsh!

Proud to boast that I experienced "Demons" in the theater when it originally opened.
"Demons 2" not worthy of a separate purchase; it ought to be included as a special feature.

@Tristanchord85; Arrow released Mario Bava's excellent Bay of Blood and it's a pristine transfer loaded with special features and the usual poster and reversible cover. KinoLorber under their new Redemption Films banner will release Hatchet for the Honeymoon sometime next year. From these 4 titles, I'll take Demons and Red Scorpion. Used to own that Lundgren classic on VHS way back in 1989 when I was only 15 and haven't seen it since, but it's worth it for the nostalgia factor alone

Why all the hating on Demons 2? It may not match the original but it's still a great time. How bout when the baby demon bursts out of that kid's back...absurdly classic! Can't wait for both Demons!

I don't think demons is anywhere near the classic some think it is. It hasn't held up that well unlike other films from this period. Demons 2 wasnt too bad from what i remember.
