I consider myself a fan of the original Trek films, having seen each of them multiple times as a theatrical experience (especially 1 and 2). As much as everyone complained, the truth is that only "Star Trek IV:the voyage home" had severe issues with DNR. Go figure, as it was only the most popular of the series. "Star Trek-tmp" looks very much improved with "Star Trek II: the wrath of Khan"looking the best- being the only disc to be treated to a restoration. The bonus disc "the four captains" is for hard-core Trek fans only. AT the sub $40 price, it is a very good deal for the consumer indeed!
same here Boucou..,the sub 40 price is really a sweet deal, but having only 2 out of 6 with superb(remastered) PQ is no good, ill wait for a proper release,i had my share from double dipping tbh, studio's are doing this all the time to us collector's,same with Lord of....theatricall,then extended..i waited and now ordered the extended for 49,99 on blu ofc and also Jurassic.. trilogy blu for 29,99.
I always buy like this, waiting a bit on a really good price drop and then jump on it,one saves hundreds a year by doin it like that, and tbh...it gives me extra pleasure picking it up cheap:))
what's that sayin again? "patience is a virtue..."
