In a special promotion with Amazon, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is allowing fans to choose the cover for the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen'. The cover with the most votes will be used for the official release, which is due to hit store shelves on April 8th. Voting ends December 27th, so vote today.
Well the 1st one looks horrible to be honest and the 2nd one is more traditional and the 3rd is 'unique'. I voted for the 2nd but they all look pretty poor in my opinion.
Josh, shouldnt you be taking at least 1 day off? But great work keeping us informed on the day that at least i thought wouldnt have any new news posted. Major props to you man!!
I think 2 and 3 both look ok.Dont care for the 1st one.Well I can only vote for 1 so I picked 2. Looking forward to seeing this movie again.Have not scene it in many years.
I liked option 3 because it's colorful but not to cartoonish and I pictured it with that beautiful blu case. The 2nd was good to but to dull but very nice background.
$13.99 purchase price for a BD, Prices are coming down!
I really couldn't see enough detail, but I voted for #2. It showed more of the actors. #3 looked more
like a book cover to me. I didn't like the thick outlines in #3.
As an aside, I used to own a VHS copy of this that came from an unmatted Super 35 print. And you could see Uma's nipple in the first closeup after the seashell opens...
Don't know what these pr.dept are doing but just look at the options we got here!!!!. Is it so increadible difficult for this companies to just use the artwork that they did use when the films come out. ?
When fans start to do the job the distributer should have done in the first place then there is something very strange going on here.
When comes to this films I would like a 4 option (non of the obow!!!!).
I chose option 3. Also the the link on the page to pre-order the blu-ray version is wrong, they both take you to the DVD version, which is 13.99. The blu-ray version is 19.99.
I voted for number 1... I don't really like any of them... I would prefer the movie poster to be the cover artwork for this one... Actually I would like the movie artwork to be the cover artwork for all blu-ray releases and leave off the reviewers comments on the front and put them on the back cover...
The 2nd is professional-looking, well made, but it looks really generic hollywood adventure, like a
Pirates of the Caribbean rip-off. The 3rd looks like the cover of a children's tale - which only gets
rented for kids, occasionally. Only the first one, despite it's ugliness, gives you an accurate idea of
what the movie's like. Since I'd love it for more people to see this movie, I voted for #1.
