Warner Home Entertainment has revealed that they are delaying the release of 'The Invasion' until January 29th. The title, which was originally scheduled to street on January 8th, will feature a VC-1 video encode and Dolby TrueHD soundtrack on a BD-50. Extras include a documentary and three featurettes.
They must really have thier heads stuck where the sun don't shine at the moment over at WB... Get it together WB otherwise say bye-bye to my $$$$!!! Sorry still annoyed with the T3 non-existant exchange program.
but why make a day and date a catalog based on sales trends for HDM, if it were a simple marketing ploy, they would release it on the 15th, not the 29th. Somethings up.
=) Well, why would WB not release an HDM movie until January 29th? Seems like enough time for an announcement without crushing preorders or company image.
i admit Warner have cocked up a fair bit recently, but i still believe they are one if not the best hi def distributor for Blu Ray, My Catalogue of movies would be halfed if warner didnt support Blu Ray...................
