THE most important cinema milestone EVER. Makes The Godfather and its sequel look like a steaming turd. Sell your home; do whatever you must to obtain this treasure.
@GRiZZ: Wait a minute, you're saying they actually made a 4th one?? I loved the first two, didn't care for the 3rd one but had no idea they made a 4th one!!!
The first and second are the only ones that matter at all. Best Buy has had this set at $20 a couple weeks ago, so I don't know how much of a deal this is.
Yeah not much of a deal Amazon. That's Walmart's regular price, and that's saying a lot. My local Walmart usually has the highest prices, on Blu-rays, in town.
Yes, there is a 4th Home Alone. It was made-for-TV around 2002 and I wished I hadn't watched it. It was such an unmitigated disaster that makes one nostalgic for either Gigli or Heaven's Gate. Both films are masterpieces in comparison.
I wish they had done a special edition of part 2 "Lost in New York" before releasing it on Blu-ray. I actually enjoy the second movie more than the first & would love to see some deleted scenes or bloopers.
