Amazon is offering a special $5 coupon for Puss in Boots and Puss in Boots 3D. This
promotional discount applies to the two-disc Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack as well
as the three-disc 3D Blu-ray edition.
Consumers who wish to take advantage of this offer need to add the Puss in Boots
or Puss in Boots 3D Blu-ray to their Amazon shopping cart and start the checkout
process. When "SOFTPAWS" is entered in the "Gift Cards & Promotional Codes" box that
appears during the "Shipping and Payment" stage, $5 will be deducted from the order
total.
With the coupon applied the two-disc Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack drops down to $19.99 and the three-disc 3D Blu-ray edition drops down to $24.99. Should Amazon reduce the price between now and when Puss in Boots officially streets, the $5 discount will also apply to the lower price, provided consumers lock in the coupon while Amazon is still offering it.
The promotion is available until January 15th, 2012. Puss in Boots streets February

Price Drop Update: The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack just dropped in price from $23.99 to $19.99 with the coupon applied, while the 3D Blu-ray edition dropped from $29.99 to $24.99.
It is $25 with the coupon. But it would be nice if it would drop to 25 before coupon. Still, a non-exclusive Dreamworks title for $25...what a great buy!
Amazon still shows the price for the 3D version as $29.99 before the coupon. The Update above says it dropped to $24.99. Was it a mistake by Amazon and then they put the price back to $29.99?

@SpartanIre and Sai - yeah, that definitely wasn't there yesterday. That little line of text makes a big difference. Hopefully it will drop to $24.99 before the coupon is applied for the 3D version. There is still plenty of time for it to happen before the release date. We can only hope.
