Asif Kapadia's award winning documentary Senna (2010) is finally coming to the U.S., courtesy of independent distributors Arc Entertainment. The film focuses on the monumental life and tragic death of legendary Brazilian motor-racing champion, Ayrton Senna. Exact technical specs and region coding status for this release are unknown at the moment, but the preliminary street date announced by the distributors is July 10th.
Note: Last year, Senna won Best Documentary Award at the British Independent Film Awards.
Couldn't wait, got mine from the UK months ago. Amazing film, and I wouldn't go down to DVD for any amount of money regardless of the source material because Blu-ray = less compression, less artifacting, just better overall.
